THIRD ALARM ASSIST TO CONSHOHOCKEN

At 1715 hours, Gladwyne Fire Company was dispatched on the third
alarm to assist Conshohocken Fire Department at 101 East Elm Street, Conshohocken for a commercial
building fire. First in arriving apparatus found heavy fire and smoke conditions coming from the
building. Gladwyne Firefighters were assigned out to assist with aerial master stream operations, pumping
operations, scene lighting, and filling air cylinders. Engine 24-1, Air 24, and Snorkel 24 assisted our
neighbors for just under 6 hours.

Gladwyne Fire Company, after 7 months of design and approval
process has been granted approval to have a custom Pennsylvania State Department of Transportation License
Plate. Volunteers, Life Members, Career Staff, and Board of Directors are all encouraged to order a
specialty plate. Any Gladwyne Fire Company member wishing to obtain a plate, please contact Deputy Chief
Blaine Leis for the appropriate paper work.
