1990 E-One Engine
Engine 24 features a 6 person enclosed cab, 1250 gallons per minute pump, and a 500 gallon water tank. In addition, it carries 1500' of 5" large diameter hose, 600' of 3" supply line, (3) 200' preconnected 1.75 attack lines, and a 200' preconnected 2.5" attack line. Engine 24 is 9 feet 6 inches in height and weighs 29,500 lbs.

Air 24 features a 12 kW diesel generator, 18.7 cubic feet per minute air compressor, (4) 1500 watt metal halide lights, and (6) 100 watt quartz lights. Air 24 is 10 feet 2 inches in height and weighs 18,000 lbs.

MARINE 24
2002 Rivercraft Boat
Marine 24 is 18 feet long, and has a 120 horsepower, fuel-injected engine. Equipment it carries includes cold water emersion suits, dragging equipment, stokes basket, an inflatable rescue sled, and throw bags. Marine 24 has the ability to operate on water, ice or snow.

Marine 24-1 is 11 feet long, 5 feet wide, and has a 10 horsepower, outboard motor. Marine 24-1 has a capacity for 2 rescuers.

UTILITY 24
2005 Ford F-350 4x4
This vehicle is set up to pull either of the two boats, assist in inclement weather, or carry extra firefighters or equipment to and from the emergency scene. Utility 24 has UHF, VHF, and Low Band communication capability.

ENGINE 24-2 (RETIRED)
1954 Autocar C65
The retired Engine 24-2 has a Hale 3 stage, 750 gpm, centrifugal pump and carries 250 gallons of water. It is powered by a Autocar "Blue Streak" 501 c.i.d., twin head, dual ignition gas engine, and has a 5 speed overdrive manual transmission. Gladwyne's Autocar is unique because it was the last Autocar firetruck chassis to be built in Ardmore, PA. This piece served as Gladwyne's first out pumper from 1954 to 1978 where it accumulated 24,700 miles. Currently, the unit is in the process of total restoration.

HOSE CART (RETIRED)
1904 Style "L" Hand Drawn Hose Cart
The 1904 Style "L" hand drawn hose cart was originally built by the Wirt & Knox Company of Sedgley Ave in Philadelphia. The Hose cart was donated by the Late Jack Dorrance of Gladwyne sometime in the 1960's. The Hose cart is on display at the firehouse for anybody that would like to admire its beauty.
